Dana Mccarty
Board Director
Dana has lived in Alberta all her life, growing up in small communities across the province with her father’s career as an RCMP officer. After graduating high school in Raymond, she moved to Lethbridge to take her Business Administration Degree before taking a year to travel overseas in New Zealand and Australia.
She started with a company as a sales rep in 2007 but moved her way up to the current position of Western Regional Director and part-owner. She has been Chair of the Playground Committee since 2020 and helped plan, develop, fundraise, and build Acadia’s latest playground located at Addison Place SE. Her and her husband, along with some dedicated neighbours, have also built and maintained the Adopt-a-Rink each winter for 6 years in the same cul-da-sac for people of all ages and backgrounds to utilize and enjoy.
Dana has lived in Acadia since 2017 with her husband Chris and two sons Jake and Luke. She loves spending time with family, camping, hiking, taking her dog Betty for long walks in the neighbourhood, and meeting new people in Acadia!
